Congratulations! Since our Bylaws call for a maximum of eight Board Members, it would appear that our new board consists of Marcel Hernandez, Evelyn McCarthy, Julia Fairchild, Denise Janelle, Nancy Emery, Randyl Rupar, Barbara Moore, and Rev. Libby Kelson-Fulcher. (Although Dr. Linda Nadia Hole had a different suggestion -- scroll down to see her note on the bulletin board below).
According to the Bylaws, the Board Members are to appoint officers, and move forward from here. May I suggest that we choose a time and place to meet as soon as possible? Please use the space below to suggest a time, date and place, and I (Julia Fairchild) will keep you all informed of the suggestions, and find one that hopefully fits for all.
Many grateful accolades for all who have stepped up to be accountable, and to take HIWTA to the next level. For those who ran for the board but were not elected into one of the eight positions, please consider how you would like to assist by possibly leading a committee or helping with one of the many duties it takes to keep our lovely organization thriving and serving the vision for wellness and sustainability. Please note on the bulletin board the number of members who are enthusiastically agreeing to be on this team with all of us. Isn’t this exciting?!
By the way, please be sure to check out the message board, and especially take note of Dr. Linda Nadia's letter and sharing of Susanne Simms' letter to the entire HIWTA membership.
Also, you all may add your notes and suggestions to the message board, by submitting it in the box provided there. This box will hold as much text as you choose to write in it.
